Hi! I have problem with ftp connection. In log file I have info - "Timeout - try typing a little faster next time". This problem is when I try to connect by gsm modem (gprs connection). What can I change in configuration? The serwer is running on Debian Leny.
Does it work with a normal (DSL or Cable) connection? Did you try both active and passive transfers in your FTP client?
It does heppend in when I thy connect by gsm modem, but only by devices use to transfer data from water or heat counters. It does not heppend when I transfer on serwer with proftpd or vftpd software. I check it on two serwers with ispconfig 3 with pure-ftpd and on both the problem is the same. When I setup verboselog I see only this log with I wrote above.
