    Hi everybody,

I have the / completly full !!i followed the How to Resize ext3 Partitions in order to shrink /home and enlarge the /. I have already shrinked /home by 2,1Go ,but i don't know if i can enlarge the / by this free space; I mean i don't know if those 2,1 Go are directly behind the / ?.Or the important is to have free space in the disk??
    the command df -h shows:
Sys de fichs Taille Uti Disp Uti% Monté sur
    /dev/sda5 7,6G 7,3G 0 100% /
    tmpfs 1003M 0 1003M 0% /dev/shm
    /dev/sda6 2,8G 1,6G 1,1G 60% /home

    and fdisk-l:
    /dev/sda5 35171 36177 Linux
    /dev/sda6 36177 36814 Linux
    /dev/sda7 36814 36942 Swap

I need your help .(my / is full that i obtain a black screan!!!!:()
    Thanks in advanced

    resize ext3 partitions

because the MiniTool Partition Wizard 5.2 partition can support Linux ext3 and do partitions well,so you can have a try.
