hi I know this is a bit cheeky but here goes I followed falko's how to perfect install fedora core 5 and then went on to follow how to install ISPConfig and got realy confused are the instructions for quota to replace the fedora how to ones or are they aswell as instructions ..? sorry if this seem a stupid question but I'm new as you guessed and probebly trying to run before i can walk but i feel the best way to learn is in the deep end and learn from the big boy's...so to speak
When you followed the fedora core 5 howto, you can skip the quota instructions in the ISPConfig installation manual.
thanks cheers for such a prompt reply and thanks for clearing that up , I thought that was the case but didn't want to mess it all up after it took me so long to set it up...Me and my spelling , It'll get me shot one day..I must remember ftp is not the same ftpd and httpd is not http so you can imagine the amount of times i had start again, and again,,,etc well cheers again and keep up the good work as I'm loving discovering the world beyond microsaft and the restrictions of paying through the nose for half a product with more backdoors than an illegle brothel and support that doesn't exist... there goes my spelling again bye and thanks again
Hi Till. Hypothetically speaking, what would happen if an installer went ahead and tried to follow the ISPConfig install quota instructions after they installed quota using the Fedora Howto? Would it break something? And if it does how would the installer recover from the break? Thanks,
