At this time, i try to get TYPO3 version 4 working on one of my ISPConfig servers. I want to know what is recomended to do: 1) setup TYPO3 on an individual bases (for each web with TYPO3 a new TYPO3 install) same as for Joomla. or 2) a global TYPO3 setup with 1 TYPO3 sourcecode installed for all websites using TYPO3 and dummies installed in the TYPO3 webs?
I'd first go for the simpler solution: each site individually.... If that works fine... then you may move to the global setup - as I think that is more complicated
New "How to" to setup TYPO 3 CMS Thanks for your opinion Sjau. In the mean time i have also written a "How to" which helps to setup the latest version of Typo3 on an ISPConfig server. I hope Falko or Till will publish it soon.
Over the weekend we are sometimes a bit lazy Your howto will be published for sure as soon as we had the chance to have a look at it today
Ha ha, During the week, i am very busy too but i do my best to contribute from time to time. Soon i start with my first TYPO3 site!
Thanks for publishing! Thank you Falko for publishing my how to on HowtoForge! I will post some useful How to's from time to time which will answer frequent asked questions in the forums. By doing so, we can answer some questions in the forums quickly by referring to the how to on HowtoForge, which might help you and Till. All my how to's are fully tested on Debian Sarge.
