hi all just got a quick question about the The Perfect Setup - Debian Sarge (3.1) on page 3. So for i have got to : update-rc.d -f exim remove update-inetd --remove daytime update-inetd --remove telnet update-inetd --remove time update-inetd --remove finger update-inetd --remove talk update-inetd --remove ntalk update-inetd --remove ftp update-inetd --remove discard <- Yes /etc/init.d/openbsd-inetd reload and apt-get install quota quotatool <- No but my question is whats the <- yes & <- no for because they are not commands on debian. I have tried them on there own and also with the commands that are before them eg update-inetd --remove discard <- yes & apt-get install quota quotatool <- No but both are not recognize as commands. thanks for any feed back paul
Sometimes a window will pop/showup, asking you "Yes" or "No" <- No = select NO <- Yes = select YES One thing.. With the "update-inetd --remove discard" there is NO popup! So ignore the "<- Yes"
