Hi, I would like to know if its possible to use the converted windows vmware image to restore a computer. How would I go about making that a native hard disk image that could serve as the actual system you are booting in to? hopefully that makes sense...

    Thanks!

hmmm, I don't think that's wise... but you could try the following:

    (1) Determin the size of your virtual drive
    (2) Make the primary partition the same size
    (3) Use some image recording/restoring software and make an image of the virtual windows
    (4) use then the same software to restore that image to the real one

that's what I would attempt but I don't think it would work.
