Hi There For a new Envoirement i got a understanding Question: Since we have some Users with different usecases, we thought about: Why not install for each customer with special usecases an own VM with full ispconfig? Idea is, that they use all same public IP (on IPv4) all go on same (management) ispconfig server and are redericted to their own VM. That should also incloude E-Mail, FTP, Database, Webserver... is this Possible as Multiserver installation or not? We would give this cusomers maximun Flexibility that they can use their usecases and do not disturb other customers if they install some extensions and break the system or whatever. Or do you have other ideas to fix this? Thank you. Best regards
Not with a single public IP address. If you want multiple servers that provide the same service like multiple web or email servers, then each of them needs its own public IP. using a single IP is only possible if you have just one mail, one web and one dns servers as you can route traffic then via your router based on the port to the right internal server.
