I've got a problem with one of my websites. The website is in different languages, dutch and deutsch. But on the deutsch site, the tekst is full with question marks... The problems are with ß, ä and ö... I've tried to install the language pack with Code: apt-get install language-pack-de-base But that didn't work.. I also tried to set UTF-8 as default charset in apache2, but no results on that... Does anybody have the golden answer to this problem?
Have you tried to set the defualt charset in apache2.conf to the western european (latin1) charset? Also check if the charset is set correctly in the head of the html pages.
