Great article so far! However I'm stuck on part 3, installing lighttpd. It says: Lighttpd is available as an OpenSUSE package, therefore we can install it like this: yast2 -i lighttpd When I run the command "yast2 -i lighttpd", I am unable to find the package from the DVD. I am using "openSUSE-10.3-GM-DVD-i386-iso" and installed OpenSUSE 10.3 in text mode. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Johnny
Yeah I tried adding a few community repositories by following the other HowTo guide but received the following error: Adding repository Main Repository (OSS) failed http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:10.3/standard/: Valid metadata not found at specified URL(s) History: File /var/cache/zypp/raw/http:/download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:10.3/standard3rIMfb/content.key doesn't contain public key data OR http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:10.3/standard/: Valid metadata not found at specified URL(s) History: File /var/cache/zypp/raw/http:/download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:database/openSUSE_10.3wvJ3s/repodta/repomd.xml.key doesn't contain public key data Do I have a bad copy of Open SUSE 10.3? I believe I downloaded it using a torrent off their website.
