hi. i've read the tutorial located here, and i have some questions about it. does this mailserver connects to another server and fetch the mail, or it's standalone, the mail sent to the adresses added come directly to it? and if so, how do i set it up without a domain? also is it possible to implement something like this in a centos box, with some changes?? help would be appreciated thanks in advance
For CentOS, you can use this tutorial: http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual-users-domains-postfix-courier-mysql-squirrelmail-centos-5.3-x86_64 If you want mails for a domain to arrive directly on that server, you must modify the domain's MX record so that it points to the server.
