Hi, I had some questions regarding this howto (http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual_users_postfix_courier_mailscanner_clamav_centos). First I wanted to say "Nice Job!" as this has covered everything extremely well! I'm trying to adapt it for Red Hat EL 5 (and to use the newer version of the software). Everything seems to have installed correctly, having checked with some of the common errors at the end of the guide when I ran into problems. I see that postfix is being installed from the CentOSplus repository, does that package have mysql support enabled by default? Red Hat's doesn't seem to, and so I've been trying to build it from source (as I can't find an RPM of the current version of Postfix for RHEL5 with mysql support enabled) and encountered some errors there. Does anyone have any suggestions on building from the postfix source rpm? Or am I assuming incorrectly that the RHEL5 rpm doesn't have mysql support? Thanks! Andy
I can't speak for RedHat and CentOS, but Fedora's Postfix doesn't have MySQL support, and you have to compile it in (see http://www.howtoforge.com/fedora_virtual_postfix_mysql_quota_courier ). I guess it's the same for RedHat and CentOS.
