quota issue - Debian Sarge How to

    Have an issue on page 36

    "touch /quota.user /quota.group
    chmod 600 /quota.*
    mount -o remount /
    quotacheck -avugm

    "quotacheck: WARNING - Quotafile //quota.user was probably truncated. Can't save quota settings . . .
    quotacheck: WARNING -- Quotafile //quota.group was probably truncated. Can't save quota settings. . .
    quotaacheck: Scanning /dev/hda1 [1]"

    Ideas?? Do I really need this?

    This warning message is ok. It just tells you that the quota files where empty which is always the case when you run the quotacheck command the first time.
