Have an issue on page 36 "touch /quota.user /quota.group chmod 600 /quota.* mount -o remount / quotacheck -avugm "quotacheck: WARNING - Quotafile //quota.user was probably truncated. Can't save quota settings . . . quotacheck: WARNING -- Quotafile //quota.group was probably truncated. Can't save quota settings. . . quotaacheck: Scanning /dev/hda1 [1]" Ideas?? Do I really need this? Thanks. Liz M
This warning message is ok. It just tells you that the quota files where empty which is always the case when you run the quotacheck command the first time.
