Ok, I'm about at my wits end here so I humbly come to you for assistance. Installed Suse 10.3 and have a problem I just cant seem to find anything on. All my real player files, whether trying to view online or opening a downloaded file, default to the MPlayer program. When I look at about:plugins in FireFox, the real player plugins show there but all are associated with the MPlayer program. I have been searching all day trying to change these file associations to no avail. I am using the gnome desktop and cant find anywhere to change file associations.

I read somewhere that if you download a real player file, right click on it, choose properties, that you can do it that way..... one small problem though, when I do that it pops up an error asking for a bug report and the system locks up, obviously a bug there somewhere.....LOL. Everything else I have got going pretty good, just this nagging problem is really irritating me... any help out there???

In Firefox you can change the file associations under Tools > Options > Content > File Types.
