Hi, I've just followed the guide installing ISPconfig3 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Everything appears to be working apart from receiving email. I've set up a domain, email domain and email mailbox. I can send emails from that mailbox using roundcube fine. But when I reply to the email, it bounces saying user is unknown: (I've changed the FQDN) Code: This is the mail system at host example.com. I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below. For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster. If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the attached returned message. The mail system <[email protected]>: unknown user: "xavtest" I did notice in the mail logs the following line: Code: Dec 15 12:50:59 example postfix/trivial-rewrite[2680]: warning: do not list domain example.com in BOTH mydestination and virtual_mailbox_domains Any suggestions on where to look? Thanks Xav
Solved! It was in fact linked to the duplicate entry thingy. Exactly the same problem here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45369 editing /etc/postfix/main.cf file has fixed the problem
