Hi, is there an easy way to recover emails from ISPConfig3? I've had to set up a new server from scratch and I've got all the sites back up and running, I can still access the drive of the old server and was wondering if I can recover emails from the sites.
Yes you can, you just need to copy over /var/vmail from old server to new server, and providing the users email addresses are the same they will get all the old emails. just make sure you keep the ownership of the files/dirs as user/group vmail. I do this 5 times a day when i sync my backup ail emserver with the live servers using rsync.
