Can some one please help My server has just died component failure on the motherboard, im going to set up my server again on my new system. I have my old hard drives with all the previous systems data and i do a monthly complete backup of ispconfigs Database Can anyone tell me a step by step way of getting my old ispconfig up and running on my new system, is there a way to let ispconfig do this automatically thanks
if this debian is a fairly new version ie etch, you could just take your old harddrive and pop it into a similar machine, which similar configuration, and all should work. make sure that you give the new machine the same ip address as your old machine. aqua
restore from backup Hi, I also would like to know how to restore a ispconfig server from a backup? Is this possible? Or does somewhere exist a backup script which can be automatically restored on a failure of the isp config server? thanks in advance for your help hkaiser
