I know that you guys say to wait. But I waited 24 hours and still will not let me in to the recycle bin. The reason I need to get in there is I deleted a site by mistake. Please help.

The recycle bin cannot be accessed because the system is currently being updated. Please try again in a few minutes.

    Restart ISPConfig:

    /etc/init.d/ispconfig_server restart

And as an additional check, I believe that the "writing config files" messages ought to only be displayed if you try to access the Recycle Bin while the writeconf.php process is running. You might want to try "ps aux | grep writeconf" to see if it is.

If writeconf.php is not actively running but you still get that message, you might want to see if running:
    ~/ispconfig/php/php ~/ispconfig/scripts/writeconf.php runs to completion.

I did restart ispconfig and it cleared it right up. I did a restore of the item that I deleted by mistake and went back to look at the status of the recycle bin and it let me back in with in mins. Thanks for the help.
