Hi, I have a wordpress installation that is installed in a subfolder /wordpress/ of the web root directory. I can't change the root directory from ISPCONFIG interface so I think I should set up a redirection using the tab "Redirect" in the web domain configuration. to clarify the redirection should be: example.com ----> example.com/wordpress/ Can you help me what kind of redirection should I use? (R,L....) Thanks in advance. Kris
That's wrong, you can change the root directory using the Apache/Nginx directives field of the website. But in general, I highly recommend to not put e.g. WordPress in a subdirectory unless it is absolutely necessary because you run multiple apps in the same website.
Ok, I'll try as personal insormation for the future. But the truth is that I am only lazy to change all the wordpress config options manually into WP database to change WP installation path. But I'll do it BTW the L type of redirect and /wordpress/ in redirect path ispconfig3 option solved my problem. But I'll follow your advice to move the sito to the root dir. Thanks a lot for your help.
