    Hi,
my base domain is mydomain.com. i've added one mor edomain anotherdomain.com
    I tried redirecting mail.anotherdomain.com to
    https://www.anotherdomain.com.com:81/squirrelmail/src/login.php

by creating a co-domain in addition to the default co-domain created by ispconfig.
    IP 192.168.1.254
    Hostname Blank
Domain anotherdomain.com (default created by Ispconfig)

    IP 192.168.1.254
    Hostname mail
    Domain anotherdomain.com
    forward to: https://www.anotherdomain.com:81/squirrelmail/src/login.php

when I access mail.anotherdomain.com it goes to
    https://www.anotherdomain.com:81/squirrelmail/src/login.php/

but if I remove the / next to php from the redirected page ..../src/login.php/
    I am able to login.

    How can i fix this?

    Works perfectly.

Thanks a lot for the Tip.

but one of the domains fetches my router's web interface when i access mail.anotherdomain3.com

    mail.mydomain.com
    mail.anotherdomain1.com
    mail.anotherdomain2.com

Does your router listens to port 81 too? Then you will have to change either the port of the router or the port of the ISPConfig webserver.

redirection for mail.anotherdomain3.com works if i add
    192.168.1.254 mail.anotherdomain.com

to the hosts file in windows machine. I don't have any entry for anotherdomain1.com and anotherdomain2.com but they work fine.

Every domain nname that you want to use must exist in DNS or in your hosts file, so you must either create mail.domain.com in DNS as A-Record or CName Record or you add it to your hosts file.

yes, I have a A record in DNS manager mail.anotherdomain3.com pointing to 192.168.1.254(ISPconfig Box)
but for some reason redirection is done only if the info is entered in windows --hosts file.

Then your DNS server is either not authoritive for the domain or your changes are not reflected yet in the caching nameservers. It may take up to 48 hours until changes in DNS are propagated.
