Can anyone tell me why I can't resend this mail to my wife on my server from my work?

Thanks. It was a misconfiguration of my DNS.

 

When visitting https://www.dnsqueries.com/en/smtp_test_check.php to test mailserver I get this answer:

The SMTP server does not accept mails to postmaster@[IP_ADDRESS]. This is a very bad thing, as this address is used by people that don't know your domain name! The reported error is:

Is that even possible to set a mailaddress where the ip-address is the domain part in ispc?

 

Well if you want to be strictly RFCs conform you have to support this yes. Also abuse@[IP] IIRC. But note that i my days i've never tested this or even thought about it because no one uses this address anymore i guess, all that i get in that mailbox is spam.

But this should be enabled by default in postfix i thought?
