    Hello,

    How are you ?
I have configured my multiserver by following this link:
    http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-opensuse-12.1-x86_64-with-apache2-ispconfig-3
    My servers are:
    web, mail and db.
ISP config is showing all the servers. I can receive mail but cannot send mail to other domains.
The Squirrel Mail showes the following error:
Message not sent. Transaction failed Server replied: 554 5.7.1 Relay access denied

What should I do to solve it... ?

    Thanks in advance.

Are there any errors in your mail log (in the /var/log/ directory)?

On SUSE, the mail log is /var/log/mail.

how can I provide SMTP Authentication. I googled the error and found it is because of incorrect SMTP Authentication.

Did you provide the correct username/password?

    What's in /etc/postfix/main.cf?

    Hi

Does this problem only encounter when using the webmail or also with a client like Outlook?

It may sound "stupid", but did you check your configuration?
Someone on my server had this and I had to tell him 100 of times that he should activate "SMTP needs authentification".

    Regards,
    MaddinXx

Hi, As we are shifting our office, all our testing servers will be offline for 20 days. I guess I can post the main.cf file after that. Please dont take it otherwise.

    Apologies from
    Tanvir
