Im runing the latest ispconfig with dovecot and debian 6. How do i setup my isp relay server so i can send emails withouth being denied Before with postfix i would put the relay in a file but postfix sucked so i switched to dovecot
http://www.howtoforge.com/postfix_relaying_through_another_mailserver BTW, Dovecot is a POP3/IMAP server, and Postfix is an SMTP server. That's something different. I guess that you have both Postfix and Dovecot working on your server.
My isp doesnt require a user and password. It detects me with my ip. Should i leave it out. Time warner cable
