Power goes out, server goes down, power comes back. Because of disability, I depend entirely on putty/SSH/W7 speech recognition for managing my Ubuntu box. Consequently, even though the server is less than 2 feet away, I can't make the initial login. Apparently, the SSH server doesn't come up until after the first login. How do I make Ubuntu skip the first login? Conceptually, I can have it autologin as a lower level user or a guest just to get my sites back up. I just need to know how to go about doing this. Maybe there's another approach? Thanks.
