Remoting problem

Hi All,

I've problem with remote plugin, after two post on this post (http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14766) with no help. I decided to create new topic on this subforum.

I use autosignup script with ISPConfig 2.2.20 on debian etch updated. ISPConfig is compile with xml support (https://cronos.espace4you.org:81/phpinfo.php). Curl is install on client support script (http://www.espace4you.org/phpinfo.php). ISPConfig_kunde.lib.php is install. When I test the script it work correctly with no error, but after I go on ISPConfig interface and user, domain and website are not created.

If anyone can help me, please ?

Yes, I added user e4yremote with the password on ispconfig. I selected options create user, create web, etc ... But it doesn't work. Remoting support ssl (https://) ?

I tested with remoting_example, I have the same problem. Remoting are support on ISConfig 2.2.21 ?

 

I try it, but I've the same problem ... There are full tutorial about remoting install ? I could made errors during installing.

I load the remoting_example script from the ISPConfig website and done all the configuration.
1-Install the remoting extension in ISPConfig.
2- Add a new remoting user in my ISPConfig.
Then check all checkboxes for functions that shall be
available for the user.
3- Copy the php scripts to a php enabled Webserver.
4- Edit the test.php script with my remote user and uncomment client list function => It work.
5- Edit test.php with adding client function => "script end ...". Doesn't work

If anyone have an idea ?

I am having the same problem.
Cant find any error logs on the issue.

I was able to correclty create a remote user in 2.19 but in 2.20 and 2.21 I cannot create a remoting user.

Using CentOS 5.1

 

Ok i can create a new Remoting User again after i reinstall the remoting plugin after the update to 2.21. This raises some concerns becuase it seems that it wiped out my old Remoting Users and they may be leaving dead remote user fields in the iscponfig DB.

it is not clear to me where the problem lies.

The most knowledgable person ive found is Grandpa genocide.

He seems to know how to correct the remoting issue. However he is only able to get it working stepping the version back to 2.19

it is not clear to me how grandpa genocide fixes it. But once i get my VMware up im going to make a sandbox with papagenocide to see if we can try to get to the root of problem so it will work with the latest versions.

There is something that lies within the latest versions that offsets the remoting.

 

I now have it working with the same fix as I used in 19, Gimly PM me and ill walk you through it. You havent really explained what you have done so far. Is the remote giving you any error? Is it creating anything at all?
