I am running sendmail with courier and i need to alter sendmail so it strips the domain name from the authentication. So if the email address is [email protected] and he has [email protected] set as username. then when the mail system see's it, it will remove the @domain.com and only see the john. system is now set to only accept username not email address and i am trying to configure new mail server. Any thoughts or point in right direction would be great.
