Removing secondary ISPConfig servers from network

We have a secondary system running ISPConfig, serving as MX2 and NS2. On the primary we have moved all Email responsibilities to another off-network server, and disabled Mail in the primary ISPConfig server MX1. We have also just started to transfer all NS2 duties off-network too, while still running NS1 and doing transfers. So the secondary system has nothing to do anymore and I'd like to decommission it.

What is the correct way to de-couple secondary servers from a primary ... to completely remove servers from an ISPConfig network?

I will be running the Migration Toolkit to move the primary system and I don't want any old server config info to be transferred in the process.

    Thanks!

Oops ... dumb, I see this every day and it didn't register ...
Between each of the following steps, pause for hours or days, to make sure everything is working the way it should.

    1) Migrate functionality.
    2) System>Server, select server and Disable anything no longer valid.
    3) Set Active to No.
    4) Turn off or otherwise disconnect the server.
    5) Click the trash can icon to delete.
    6) Pray.
