    Hello,
Not sure if this is the right subtopic to post in, so feel free to move where appropriate.
I'm wondering if there is any way to remove the webX_ in front of user names, as when having to import existing config coming from other platforms (more than 6000 users in 200 domains  ), it will be impossible to explain them the new prefix to add to all their logins.

Another approch could be to implement a MySQL front end database or an LDAP (while I prefer MySQL) as nss login source instead of passwd, but I don't know if there is any Mod or explanation on how to implement it in ISPConfig.

    Any suggestion will be welcome

If you want to have a mysql backend, take a look at ISPConfig 3.

    2 more questions...
Any idea on when the Version 3 will b at least RC?
Is there any way in V2 to batch create/import users in a domain?

    Regards

If there is a fixed date for the RC od final version, we will publish it on ispconfig.org :)

Have a look at the ispconfig remoting framework, you will find it on ispconfig.org and many posts here in the forum.
