    Greetings,

    Congratulations on an excellent product...

    I use:
    Debian Etch
    ISPConfig 2.2.14

I followed the debian perfect setup...

Within the admin panel I renamed a domain from:

    somedomain.com
    to
    somedomain.net

All is good with the new domain...

However, I noticed the old domain settings in:
    /var/lib/named/etc/bind/named.conf
    /var/lib/named/etc/bind/pri.somedomain.com
    still exist.

Im not sure whether you know this happens...

I could delete the domain and recreate it, however, that seems a lot of effort as the domain has a lot of users/dbs.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,
    Rick

If you want to rename a domain in bind too, please edit the domain in the ISPConfig DNS-Manager too. I guess you just edited the domain in the ISP-Manager which controls the apache configuration files but not the BIND configuration.

    Gday Till,

Thanks for your reply, you are correct, there were dns records for both domains in the dns-manager.

You guys do a great job....

    Thanks
