Renaming domain deletes logs

    Hello

We use ISPConfig 3.1.15p2 (but also applies to all previous versions) and have noticed that whenever changing the main domain of a website (vhost), the log folder gets deleted (or the symlink removed?).

The folder is and stays empty. No logs get created and no "yesterday-access.log" which most likely is the reason why AWStats is no longer updating.

But log files are still written to "/var/log/ispconfig/httpd/" into the folder named by the newly changed domain name.

I assume this is a bug? How can I at least recreate the log file structure in order to have AWstats working again?

    Thanks

Check if the bind mount in /etc/fstab is correct.

Thank you, Till. Totally forgot the fstab mount.
The entry for this domain is indeed missing. I have recreated the entry manually.

Shouldn't the fstab entries be (re)created automatically for the new domain name? Is it a bug? Should I create a bug report?

It should be recreated automatically. Please file a bug report so I can check that for the next release.
