By default, ISPC will auto-renew certs after 60 days. Also, if a cert is not renewed 10 days before expiration, you will get a notification from LE.
I will add a remark. I receive the emails which tells me that we must renew, but only this, because the first sentence: This does not automatically renew, all of the same ... Mz
ISPConfig runs the letsencrypt renew every night and LE / certbot takes care to renew the certificates. You should take a look at the letsencrypt log file to see why it does not renew them.
