    Hey.

I could really use some help since google has yielded no results.

I need to migrate a webserver from an old Gentoo to a new Ubuntu. I don't want any of the users to have to add a new exception for the selfsigned certificate so I figured I'll just move it. That seemed to work fine but now I noticed it's about to run out.

My question is; Is there any way to renew the certificate without effecting the users?

Thanks in advance for any useful advice.

I think all you can do is re-run the commands to create the certificate. But I'm not sure if your users will get a warning in their browsers after you've inserted the new cert...
