    Hello,

and first of all thanks for the great tutorial(s). I used this tut to install ISPConfig:
    https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial...ix-dovecot-mysql-phpmyadmin-rkhunter-binutils

Everything is just fine but i'm not getting the mailserver ready.

Here's the output of my "mail failure protocol":
    Code:

And the output of "mail warning protocol"
    Code:

I can access the database when i try to login with the credentials in dovecot-sql.conf.

The username/password amavis is using should be set/found in /etc/amavis/conf.d/50-user - you might test it, or just change it to dovecot is using. Another option to accomplish the same thing would be to download the ispconfig install tarball and run update.php from there, and let it update services.

Thank you for your reply. - I just resolved the problem by myself --> reconfigured postfix, amavis, spamassain and clamav.

I really don't know where i made a mistake but seems like something went wrong while installing ISPConfig.

    Thank you anyway!

    Hi Niko,

I am suffering by the exact same issue (well I do get the same error messages in the logs).
How did you reconfigured postfix, amavis, spamassain and clamav?
Was it a matter of "apt-get purge" and then reinstall following the tutorial?
Did you have to run the ispconfig update script, post reconfiguring the packages above?

Do you mind sharing a bit more detail on your "fix"?

    Thanks in advance,
    GeorgeG
