I followed the Centos 5.4 / ISPConfig 3 perfect server tutorial. I lost power today and now that power is restored and the server is started it up but nothing is working. ISPConfig is not working. no web sites are showing up. How do i restart everything to get it working again? EDIT: I did notice these warnings on starting up i took screen shot I dont know if this mean im screwed or what.
The startup screen looks fine, everything is up and running. ISPConfig is not a daemon, so it neither needs to be started nor restarted. If you can not reach the ispconfig interface, then start apache and make sure that no firewall blocks the ispconfig interface port.
It was already started. i restarted it it said ok/ok but gives the wanring about the virtual hosts like in the screenshot above. Still unable to get to ispconfig. if this help i can not connect to the server using putty either. I have checked the network settings they are correct. I cant ping from the server either. only firewall is the ispconfig one.
The warnings are fine, you can ignore them. Ok. So its not a ispconfig problem, its a networking problem or firewall issue. Are you able to ping servers outside like google from the shell of your server?
I found the problem. It was the cat5 cable. Some how it fried when the power went out. I replaced it and everything started working fine. Thanks, sorry for wasting your time.
