I just lost two servers in my multiserver setup (hdd gone - but fortunately only local staging environment) and thought I would try to recover. server one: master-server, ispconfig-interface and web-server server two: slave-server, mail As backup I have /var/www and all database dumps from the master-server and /var/vmail from the slave-server. I now did setup the servers as before (via perfect server setup) and restored the data from the backups. I somehow expected that as soon as I restored the ispconfig database on the master server, a cronjob would resync all config-files and automatically create the missing apache-vhosts and linux users, but it didn't. A'm I doing it all wrong or did I miss something? How to correctly restore a ISPConfig3 server?
