Restoring DB

    I recently made a back up of my system database with is in a txt format and did a clean install. In researching way of restoring my database I upon your how to move ISPConfig http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2717. Since I didn't follow the step in backing up and making copies, how can I go about restoring my database mainly ISPConfig

    Any help will be appreciated

    I do have a back up copy of one of my site Mysql

    You can restore the datbase e.g. with phpmyadmin as the database dump is in sql format. But restoring the database is not enough to restore a ispconfig system, you will have to do the other steos described in the other thread as well, e.g. restore the users and passwords in the text files as they are not in the ispconfig database.
