Thank you, I know and I did, and do it since years, and it works. My question was another. When I installed this I saw a parameter with a drop down list, where I could allow login via password & key, or password only, or key only. I like to set it o key only. I did not set it at once, as I would try it with key before and the if it works, what it does, set to key only. I never saw this option all the years I use ISPconfig, may be it's new .But I cannot find this parameter any more. Regards Rainer
So far that I know that can be done for the server admin via sshd config file. I am not so sure how that can be done for the client but you can always explore how jailkit works and try to add it in that relevant file if that is even possible. However, in my mind / theory, even if that is possible, that might force the other users to use the same method i.e. key only. Or that might not. Not sure.
it's now a global setting, not on the ssh user creation page.. system -> main -> sites tab -> Allowed SSH authentication last configuration option, right at the bottom..
