    Hi
    I am using latest stable ispconfig3 and installed using perfect server setup (debian stretch)
    So far i am very happy!.
    [ APS & Let's Encrypt Additions are very nice!) (and so is this forum :) ]

    I need to re-create all DNS zones as i have to push some common change.
    Not sure of the best way , I modified the "Default" DNS template and saved
    using the ispconfig3 gui.

    Visited Tools -> Sync Tools -> Checked DNS and Submitted.
    i could see that there server.sh correctly processed it and created
    new files as /etc/bind/pri.*
    however these files old domains ( prior to template mod ) do not bear the changes that were done in template.

    If i create new domains i can see that changes done in the templates are picked
    up.
    So my question is is there any way to modify the zonefiles en masse .
    Thanks & Regards.

    The template is used when you create a new dns zone with the wizard. This is not a way to modify existing zones. The only way to do mass changes is to do them with SQL in the database and then run a resync.
