Hello, I’m trying to setup a reverse D.N.S , but when I create a ptr record named 226 whit the canonical hostname server03.dzairwebserver.com, I have no answer from the zone. I have setup a DNS zone whit the zone (soa) : 4.106.41.in-addr.arpa. Should I ask my ISP to do that? Thank you Webdjam
Hello, Following your answer , i ask my ISP Djaweb here in Algiers about the reverse D.N.S , he said that i have to setup the reverse D.N.S by myself, i have static IP, in the zone i set the in-addr.arpa. like this 4.106.41 and the last digit 226 as name for the PTR records , any ideas why the reverse D.N.S is not working.
