When asked to play contents of a CD -basically wav files- the player shuts down.

It was running OK until I updated Win32-Codecs as shown on the tutorial The Perfect Desktop (Fedora 10).
These are the instructions followed to do so:
    su

    cd /tmp/
    wget http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/all-20071007.tar.bz2
    tar xfvj all-20071007.tar.bz2
    mkdir /usr/lib/codecs/
    cp all-20071007/* /usr/lib/codecs/
    ln -s /usr/lib/codecs/ /usr/lib/win32

    Sound Juicer plays smoothly.

    Any comment or suggestion?

Any errors in your logs when you try to play a wav file?
