on my box i have server files for games that i had installed in a folder called /servers in the base directory of my ubuntu. I installed ISPConfig 3 as an effort to create multiple websites for those servers, now I cannot access those files via ftp. is there a way to create a base ftp account? because whenever i try to login to the ubuntu admin users account (not ISPconfig 3 admin) via ftp, im limited to its home directory.

Try SCP instead (e.g. with WinSCP on Windows).
