roundcubemail problem

Somehow my clients will not get the sent box and cannot delete emails. When they click delete and relog the email is back.

Does anyone has an clue what can be the problem?

 

Please, check your RoundCube log files.
Do you see anything strange there?

 

Where can I find those?

 

The RoundCube are in the "logs" folder within your RoundCubes web.
You'll find there two files called: "errors" and "sendmail" which are the logfiles.

 

Probably these errors are bugs in the scripts. I read some other topics and it seems to be that I still have the 0.1beta version.

The version on ispconfig.org is the 0.1 beta version right?

Does anyone know which version I should take the 0.2beta or the nightlysvn?

And also how to update it since its being adjusted for ispconfig and such.

 

I do not know which version of RoundCube is within the package.
I use RoundCube for quiet some time now as a second webmail client for my clients, because it is still in Beta.
I've setup RoundCube according my own howto, which you can find here:
http://www.howtoforge.com/roundcube_webmail_ispconfig, using the latest Roundcube version.
Soon i will change the howto, so that it is also possible to login with [email protected].
With my setup and at the moment it is only possible to login with the lohin name as defined within ISPConfig.

Personally, I prefer this method, because i can maintain it myself with full control over the version and at it will work on port 80.

 

Is their anyway to update my current roundcube installation.

I used the roundcube ispconfig package.

Which files do I need to copy and modify to update it correctly.

 

I would install RoundCube from scratch again in the webspace of your choice.
If you want, you can export your old RoundCube database and import it into the new one, but i think it's only necesarry for extra functions like the addressbook.

The webmailclient is only a way to read the content of your mailboxes.
If the boxes Inbox, Sentbox, Spambox, Trashbox, are the default ones in the RoundCube package version, i do not expect problems, because i use these boxes too. In other words, your users can see there mail again, if you make a new setup.

If you're satisfied, you can delete your "old" RoundCube.

 

How to properly delete the old version??

I can remove the roundcube folder, but where can I find the database. Since its integrated with the ispconfig database I think.

 

If you've phpmyadmin installed, you can easily find it, when you login with your mysql root account.
You can download the phpmyadmin package for ISPConfig at the documentation section at http://www.ispconfig.org.
Install it with the update manager within ISPConfig.

 

And what is my mysql root account then? Since ispconfig made the database for me.

 

I now logged in with my root account in phpmyadmin, but there is no database of roundcube?

 

Maybe you can ask the ones who created the package.
I do not know how they did it, because i do not use the package myself.

 

They used an sqllite database. I already found it. It was in the same roundcube folder. I deleted everything
