    Hello,

We're wondering and cannot find a definitive answer, if Response Rate Limiting (RRL) can be set in a system running ISPconfig with BIND, I don't see an option to set it in ISPconfig. Can it be set in config files from the command line without that setting being overwritten at the next sync?

There is no such config option in ISPConfig.

Yes, ISPConfig is easily customizable, and you can override any configuration file template without being overridden by updates. All you have to do is to copy the config file template that you want to modify to the conf-custom folder or conf-custom/install/ folder and modify it there.

If you want to override a template that is set at install time, then copy that template from /install/tpl/ folder of the ISPConfig tar.gz file to the folder /usr/local/ispconfig/server/conf-custom/install/ and modify it there.

if you want to override a template that is used at runtime, then copy the template from /usr/local/ispconfig/server/conf/ folder to the folder /usr/local/ispconfig/server/conf-custom/ and modify it there.
