I Installed it on my ISPConfig multiserver system mailserver. It runs fine so long. a) Do I understand right that the score values set in ISPConfig will overwrite the setting in RSPAMD? b) the are a lot more posibilities to configure in RSPAMD, are the overwriten from ISPConfig too if I change them and if yes which of them? c) the postfix is mainly a relay for some domains (all users) to an other internal mail system. For mailboxes I can config the policies, for relayed mails not, but relay mails are affected by RSPAND what ist fine, but can configured as the mailboxes. d) I can configure whitelists and blacklists in ISPConfig. I am not really clear whow that works and if it affects or configure RSMAPD especially for relayed mails. The latest ISPConfig manual is quite old now differs some times from the latest ISPConfig versions, will the be an update? The scores set in ISPConfig is written to settings files, so they are the settings used in rspamd. They will override any rspamd defaults. Some are, some aren't currently but will be, and some probably never will be; you create conf-custom templates to ensure your changes aren't overwritten. You can look in ISPConfig's source and see what template files there are (install/tpl/rpsamd_*) and definitely would need to use conf-custom templates for those; there are some additional rspamd templates in active merge requests (eg. multimap), and could be others later on. Every new ISPConfig release you install should be checked to ensure there are no changes in the upstream templates that need incorporated into your custom templates. You can add spamfilter settings for external domains or email addresses manually under Email > Spamfilter > User / Domain. Right now the spamfilter white/black lists probably create settings files (see /etc/rspamd/local.d/users/*) which match a sender and/or recipient address. That will change in the future to use multimap and other modules. Yes, that will eventually be updated.
If I change the values i.e. under policies -> normal -> rspamd to some other vale than seen in the rspamd dashboard nothing is changed. Normally if I change some thing in ISPConfig there shows up a red number on top showing until the change is written to the database or read by the slave. But there is nothing and the values on the dashboard and the history do not change Regards Rainer I mean the score boarders
What changes is the settings under /etc/rspamd/local.d/users/* for domains and users assigned the 'normal' policy; I don't use the rspamd dashboard and don't know what to expect there. I just confirmed this does happen; if it doesn't for you, you probably don't have any domains/users assigned the 'normal' policy, or possibly have an outdated version of ISPConfig.
I didn't know that this works for domains too, the headings says "Spamfilter Users". But the red countdown comes up. and /etc/rspamd/local.d/users/ has an entry for each domain I configured I`ll wait and see. Thanks Rainer
