    Hi

    great Tool

i want to request RSSH-Support !! .. at least some restrictions and pseudo-chroot ( kindo ) would be possilbe with this ..

another request would be to be able to determine SSL-Sites by port not by IP-only .. i have several SSL-Servers for the same IP but for different Ports .. that would make ist possible to handle many sites without the need to buy more IPs.

    thanks4reply:D

Do you have a URL? Did you take a look here? http://www.howtoforge.com/chrooted_ssh_howto_debian

ISPConfig is primarily designed for use in datacenters and for ISPs, no for home usage in a local network (of course, you can do that, too :) ). No ISP would run SSL sites on another port than 443.

that solution you mentioned needs recompiling and a chroot-style environment ..

RSSH is a user-shell that only need minimum apdation to be jailed ( not chrooted - this is not needed )

since rssh is scp/sftp/rsync only this would be a good feature ..

indeed there is are links :

    i think a addon-package will do this.

    )-P

.. well i do know some who do :) ..

    non-profit .. gimme a change man :)

I Would prefer the "free will" over some restriction in a GPL-SW .. its ok when there is a warning , but it make the option above impossible if ISPC "DENIES" any further action of the Administrator .. thats why I posted it as Feature-Request

    best regards

ISPConfig isn't licensed under the GPL, it uses the BSD license which is a major difference.
