Hi all, I am going to have a download center and i want to know what is your opinion about this i mean, what program shoud i use to have a big file server that people can download the file from my server by have public and private access and can filter IPs and control banwidth for eath download. iheared about freenas but i dont know is it good for this situation or not? You can use FreeNAS ( http://www.howtoforge.com/network_attached_storage_with_freenas ) or SME Server ( http://www.howtoforge.com/fileserver_with_sme_server7.1 ) for it.
File Server I have installed FreeNas but it is not support http it is support ftp i am going to have server like download.com and have my all files and programs on another server with 4 * 300GB Sata2 HDD.
