running Linux server off a USB stick?

Hi all

I want to try something, but don't quite now where to start.

I want to setup a normal CentOS5 server, with RAID 5 (4x SATA HDD's), but run the main / bootup OS stuff of the USB stick.

What folders / files do I need to include on the USB stick, if I only have a 2GB USB stick?
