Hey I am new to Linux, I recently installed Ubuntu feisty fawn on my dell inspiron e1505, dual core centrino. I like Linux, I use Windows XP as well, because it doesnt use up to many resources and I can allocate memory on my other virtual machines. The issue I am having is that I followed the following post: http://www.go2linux.org/node/30, to install VMware on ubuntu 7.04. Now VMware works great, but everytime I restart my machine the I have to run the following command: "vmware-config.pl" to get it to run.

Any help or ideas would be helpful. thanks in advanced!

What is the output you got when you try to start vmware?

are you sure it is starting automatically when you restart your PC?

as soon as you restart please enter this.

    sudo /etc/init.d/vmware start

and paste here the output, please.
    regards.
    Guillermo.
