I have a Samba server setup with user level security. All users can access the shares that they have permissions for. but they cannot delete or change files or folders that other samba users have created. I beleive my problem has to do with the UNIX permissions that the files have when they are created by the user. they receive 755 when they are created. the parent folder is set to 777. Is there any way that file permissions can be inherited. or does anyone know any other solutions.

    thanks
