I see that this is a common issue with Ubuntu 11.10. After an accidental upgrade, I've spent 24 hours fixing stuff and this seems to be the final hudle. I've tried all the solutions I've found in the howtoforge forums and how to but I'm still getting this error. The only thing I haven't done is reboot and I really don't want to do that. I've tried the downgrade and changed the sql statement in smtp.conf -- what else can I try???? Running amd64 bit version. I'm going to re-install since the upgrade fubar'd so much stuff, but this seems to be an issue on fresh installs too???
