Hi there, I have set up ispconfig following the guide http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-debian-10-buster-apache-bind-dovecot-ispconfig-3-1/. I have before used to secure the control panel following the guide Securing ISPConfig 3 Control Panel (Port 8080) With Let's Encrypt Free SSL | Howtoforge - Linux Howtos and Tutorials, but that doesn't seem to work anymore (I have no /etc/letsencrypt folder). So how can I set this up now ? Best regards Niels
If this is a new installation, it is easier to use ISPConfig auto installer, it secures the panel automatically and does other useful things. https://www.howtoforge.com/ispconfig-autoinstall-debian-ubuntu/ But even the manual installation method of ISPConfig should create the server certificate, unless you choose to not create it. Anyway the "Securing ISPconfig ..." thread you followed is outdated. Try Code: ispconfig_update.sh --force and when it asks about creating certificate answer yes. Check first the server FQDN is found in name service and really does point to your server. https://www.howtoforge.com/community/threads/lets-encrypt-error-faq.74179/
